WE LOVED ALOUD is a song celebrating life, it's joy, it's triumph, it's inevitable challenges , even failures. it was inspired by our french bulldog Romeo, who had been diagnosed with lymphoma. He was our child , in essence, and we were doing all we could to help him , praying for some sort of medical miracle. I had to reconcile with the reality that it was an uphill battle, and tried to live with mindset of celebration of the time we had with him. It's so important, ultimately, to live with exuberance and flair, to breathe each breath with all of your heart. That's the great lesson I learned from Romeo...he did that every day.
