This is a song I wrote with Marcus Hummon and Chris Roberts, during the One Flew South era of my career. It's one of my favorite demo recordings from OFS, complete with a guest vocal from Marcus at the end, who produced this cool track. Royal Reed's fantastic vocal in the bridge is also a highlight in my opinion...his was the perfect voice for that section. I'm really proud of this cut.
lyrics
It's a feeling a lot like love
Like a passenger on a drive
I love the way your mouth tastes
Too drunk to say goodbye
Sun don't set
Moon refuse to rise
I close my eyes
Too drunk to say goodbye
Did I make you any promises
Say or do anything out of line
Did I tell you you were beautiful
That's one I will live with over time
Sun don't set
Moon refuse to rise
I close my eyes
Too drunk to say goodbye
Goodnight my love
Goodnight my love
